This October 2nd and 3rd, the Co-op will celebrate 35 years in business with several events for the public to enjoy. On Friday Oct. 2nd, everyone is invited to enjoy music by local artists while partaking of a local brew from SLV Brewery. On Saturday, a 5 K run will take runners from Cole Park to the Valley Food Co-op where local food by Gosar's and the Mobile Kitchen will be available. Van rides donated by ASU will shuttle runners back to their vehicles.

In store sales will be going on both days, and this will also be the beginning of member appreciation week. Local food producers will be available to meet, and a bouncy house will be on site for the kids. Meanwhile, a silent auction with local artwork will raise funds for the recent expansion.
